Triple hire and double digit growth for Denholm

Denholm, the executive search, recruitment and employer brand agency, has strengthened its team with key appointments at its Edinburgh and Glasgow offices.  The hires come as Denholm is set to record double-digit revenue growth for 2018.

Robbie Broomfield joins Denholm’s Edinburgh office as Business Director, bringing over 20 years of industry experience from the UK and Australia, while Lauren Waterman and Eve Chaplin join Denholm as Consultants in the Glasgow office opened last year.

Nicki Denholm, CEO and founder of Denholm, said: “We’re excited to add Robbie, Lauren and Eve to the team as we close in on a record year of revenues in which our end-to-end focus to recruitment has really resonated with our client base.  By applying marketing principles to the recruitment process, we stand out from the crowd by offering bespoke talent attraction techniques right through to on boarding and everything in between – it is this partnership-led approach which has underpinned our growth this year.”

“Eve and Lauren join our rapidly-growing Glasgow office, while Robbie brings a wealth of commercial experience that includes time running his own consultancy in Sydney and will head up a number of our key sectors including FMCG, Financial Services and FinTech.”

“Despite an uncertain economic climate, we have seen a real resilience from our clients for whom hiring the best talent remains critical to their success. With this in mind, we are heading into 2019 with a strong and growing team able to help our clients navigate the changing talent landscape.”

In November, Denholm announced that it had been chosen to be the UK partner of Vienna-headquartered global executive search group Talentor.  The deal with Talentor extends Denholm’s international reach – Talentor operates in 28 countries worldwide, across Europe, North and Latin America and Asia – and gives Denholm access to a multi-territory network ahead of Brexit important for a Scottish market that continues to be characterised by skill shortages, particularly in the tech sector.

Founded in 2002, Denholm’s client base includes Standard Life, VisitScotland, The R&A, Edrington Beam Suntory, Baxters and Skyscanner.  Denholm opened a Glasgow office in 2017, continued to roll out its ‘BrandBox’ online employer brand tool, and launched Inside Out, a standalone employer brand agency.  New client wins during 2018 include ScotRail, National Galleries, Scottish Investment Trust and Hilton Worldwide.
