Three appointments and company expansion start rapid year for Empteezy

Livingston-based spill containment specialist, Empteezy, has expanded its team with three key appointments to cope with increased demand and company growth.

The company’s managing director, Bruce Wishart, has made two appointments to cope with high demand in sales. Nick Freeman joins Empteezy as Regional Sales Manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience from more than 30 years in technology, insulation and solar PV sales having previously secured contracts worth up to £600,000. Freeman will be responsible for driving forward Empteezy’s growth within the regions North England, the Midlands and Wales.

Freeman is joined by Karl Billington previously Branch Manager at Sixt Car Rental who will be responsible for Scotland and Ireland in his role as Regional Sales Manager.

Long standing Empteezy employee Ben Seddon has also been promoted to National Sales Manager and will focus on driving the company’s revenue.

Wishart has appointed PR and digital expert Mairi Beaver as Digital Marketing Officer to continue growing the company’s online presence following the launch of its new website. Beaver has over ten years’ experience in the advertising and public relations industry with expertise in delivering high profile digital and social media campaigns.

In addition to team expansion, Empteezy has installed an environmentally friendly spray paint booth with greener gas pipework meaning units will spend less time in the booth to decrease the quantity of paint fumes produced. The booth can hold multiple units at one time, and further champions Empteezy’s green credentials.

Commenting on the company’s expansion, managing director Bruce Wishart said: “The new appointments to the team reflect a strong year of trading for Empteezy, and I am confident such robust expertise will continue to drive business growth in the coming months. The paint booth is an important addition to our green credentials, and commitment to reducing impact on the environment.”

Newly promoted National Sales Manager Ben Seddon added: “There has been a considerable increase in demand for Empteezy’s offering at industrial sites internationally, and I am looking forward to working with the team at such an exciting time for the business.”
