Linda Anderson has also been recruited to the position of Marketing Manager, in charge of Systal’s full portfolio of online and offline marketing activities.

Systal Technology Solutions has enjoyed a run of high-profile projects and client wins in recent months, including a large unification and integration project for a global organisation.

In January of this year, the company created 30 new highly-skilled jobs in its growing incident management team at its Glasgow head office, a response to increased demand for onshore rather than offshore incident response functions.

Bidgood’s and Anderson’s appointments are part of broader growth plans, as the firm seeks to consolidate its recent successes and expand its enterprise cloud offerings.

Douglas Cumming, director at Systal said: “We’re very excited to welcome both John and Linda to Systal. Systal is an extremely ambitious business, keen to not only grow but also to respond to our customers’ needs and objectives in developing our service offering, and ensuring that we’re operating at the forefront of technological developments. Hybrid cloud and the IoT are on everybody’s lips at the moment, and John and Linda will both be instrumental in driving forward our work in these areas.”

John Bidgood said: “The IT demands and requirements of enterprise organisations have changed drastically over the last few years. With technology such as hybrid cloud infrastructure for example, which can take many varied forms, it’s more important than ever that managed service providers understand their customers’ businesses and develop their strategy accordingly.

“Systal places great emphasis on its long-term relationship with the companies it works with and this makes them ideally placed to deliver this.”

Linda Anderson added: “It feels like a very exciting time to be joining Systal. Growing businesses with a diverse service portfolio are a brilliant challenge from a marketing perspective, and I’m very much looking forward to helping drive the organisation forward. I’m joining a wonderful team of people.”
