Stewart Milne Homes appoints new commercial director as turnover rises to £240.5m

Following a strong trading performance over the last year where turnover had increased from £209.2m to £240.5m and operating profits grew from £0.6m to almost £7m, house-builder Stewart Milne Homes has appointed Niall Campbell as commercial director for its Central Scotland division to support plans for continued growth across the region.

Bringing more than 20 years’ experience to the role, Niall has previously held positions with a number of other developers. Since 2008, Niall has been a quantity surveyor, then Senior Surveyor, for Stewart Milne Homes Central Scotland.

In his new role, Niall will oversee the division’s quantity surveying, estimating and procurement teams and will be responsible for driving several new tenders, with upwards of 600 units, through to completion.

Following the announcement that strong trading performance had boosted the company’s growth prospects and investments in Central Scotland, Niall will also oversee developments in Bishopton, Calderwood, Auchterarder and most recently in Pencaitland, which will include 120 new homes.
