Splendid Hospitality appoints new head of acquisitions and development

07/10/2022

SPLENDID Hospitality Group has appointed Terry Pearce as Head of Acquisitions and Development, responsible for strategic investment across Splendid’s portfolio, ranging from hotels and franchised restaurants, to serviced apartments and residential properties.

He brings his expertise in banking and modular construction to help with a wide range of investment and franchise opportunities, bringing them to fruition.

Terry has had a long and illustrious career in the banking industry, working his way up in the retail, private banking and corporate real estate sectors for HSBC, Bank of Ireland, and BNP Paribas Fortis.

Throughout his career, Terry has always had hospitality in mind, with a particular passion for hotels. As a senior corporate banking manager for HSBC, he worked closely with Splendid Hospitality as relationship director for the company for over 10 years.

When it then came to hiring for the important role, Splendid Hospitality’s owner, Nadeem Boghani, said he couldn’t have thought of a better fit than Terry.

“I’ve been fortunate enough to know Terry for a long time,” he explained.

“Terry is the perfect strategic fit for Splendid. His background in banking and finance gives us a unique insight into investment and franchise opportunities and I look forward to working with him as he works alongside all our existing assets, as well as broadening our wider asset classes in general.”

Commenting on the new appointment, Terry said: “I’ve always admired the work Splendid does and I’m beyond excited to become a part of the Splendid Family.

This is a great opportunity to work with a talented and passionate team that is proudly entrepreneurial, inquisitive and agile. I look forward to applying my experience within the corporate banking and real estate sector to grow and develop the entire Splendid Hospitality portfolio.”
