Scottish hospitality businesses shine at European sustainability award

IN A celebration of commitment to sustainable tourism, three Scottish hospitality businesses have clinched top honours at the prestigious GrINN Awards 2023, organised by Quartz Inn Hotels. The awards recognize outstanding sustainability efforts from hotels and tourism and hospitality companies across 51 European countries, competing in 100 categories.

The awards’ integrity was fortified by an expert jury, including distinguished figures such as Francisco Rodriguez Mora, Head Chef at The Trout at Tadpole Bridge; Katie Ellam, CEO of Book Eco Hotels; Branislava Grbic, Global Sales Manager at Rosewood Hotel Group; Roeland Verhamme, CEO & Founder at Expect Me; Lidiia Tkachenko, Director & co-founder of Quartz Inn Hotels; and Ignacio Merino, Head of Strategic Partnerships at Freetour.com. Alexander Zawadzki, Director of Quartz Inn Hotels, served as the awards presenter and organizer.
