SCOTTISH family business The Power Within Training & Development (TPWTD) has achieved a £1million revenue milestone thanks to its unique approach to leadership training.
The company—founded and run by Bellshill couple James and Enas Fleming—is widely recognised for its innovative Motivational Intelligence (MQ)-based training, which helps individuals and organisations achieve success.
Having recently celebrated seven years in business, TPWTD saw its revenue soar to £ 1.3 million in 2023/24 as more businesses than ever recognised the need to provide leadership training to senior management and all levels of the business or organisation.
In the last year the company has seen a 60% increase in clients, with year-on-year turnover rising by 110%.
The company uses its groundbreaking Motivational Intelligence (MQ) framework to help thousands of business leaders and managers across the UK and beyond nurture the skills and mindset needed to achieve and exceed their business goals.
Motivational Intelligence (MQ) is the third level of intelligence, and the science behind it has won a Nobel Prize.
The Power Within offers the world’s first SQA-approved Executive Diploma in Leading With Motivational Intelligence (MQ) and other transformative MQ development programmes designed to help leaders adapt more quickly to their environment, handle adversity more effectively, and take productive action and embrace change at an accelerated rate.
The business now also offers a female-focused and female-led programme called The Power Within Her.
The company, which has bases in Glasgow, Aberdeen, and London, offers several fully funded programmes and collaborates with several colleges across Scotland.
After starting the business together, the couple now employs 14 staff across the UK. The company has businesses of all types across all sectors across the UK and beyond, with particular success in the UK construction industry.
