THE Renfrewshire-based business consultancy, Consenna, specialising in sales effectiveness programs for global IT companies, has enjoyed substantial growth in the past year with an increased team, significant increases in turnover and continued success with customers.

Now, in a move that demonstrates both its commitment to those customers and to delivering its services at the very highest of levels, it has secured ISO 9001 accreditation.

Recognised worldwide as the international standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS), the standard is used by organizations to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements and to demonstrate continuous improvement.

Trevor Evans, Consenna managing director, said: “The step change in our operations over the past 12 months is unrecognisable.  We knew that to continue growing and enjoying success, we needed to put in place a comprehensive framework to address all key processes, throughout the entire company.

“To commit to such a thorough and comprehensive scrutinization of all of our business processes was not taken lightly given the significant investment of time and money that it required.  We knew, however, that it was vital to guarantee the continued delivery of unrivalled levels of service to our ever-growing suite of customers.”

Kirsty Thompson, Consenna’s service delivery manager, said: “For ISO 9001 to be truly meaningful and drive tangible improvements, as a team we need to ensure that we’re always focusing on it and sharing the positives that we’re drawing form the experience.  And there have been many positives to be drawn.

“Above all, it has created a fantastic framework, streamlined our processes and provided a platform that is recognized as a gold standard throughout the business world, both here and overseas.  For our customers, they are provided with a reassurance of our commitment to quality and through a rigorous customer feedback process, we are equipped with the means to better understand their needs and identify any areas for improvement.”

Kirsty was appointed in April to oversee all governance, compliance, and service improvement at Consenna and it is planned that with ISO 9001 now in place, further certifications will be sought to ensure continued standout for the Consenna team and its customers.
