Voice agency, Voquent, has appointed John Burke, a veteran in the multi-lingual service industry, to lead sales for the fast-growing voice over agency.

John comes to Voquent with an extensive history of delivering both value and a personalised service to thousands of customers including many of the world’s biggest brands. He has years of experience delivering multi-lingual voice casting and audio-visual translation services for all types of content, including commercials, animations, video games, eLearning courses and more.

John Burke said “We’re on a mission to accelerate audience engagement on a global scale. Voquent is intensely focused on innovation and has an excellent market position. I’m excited to play an integral role in its success.

Voquent has established a presence in the worldwide voice over industry that has taken a lot of people by surprise, and when you’re part of something that’s ascending so rapidly, the journey itself is very rewarding.”

Founder and Managing Director Miles Chicoine remarks on the addition of John: “We place a lot of value in our people having the drive, energy and relevant expertise, and John is no exception. There are few people that have his wealth of knowledge and experience in the localisation industry and I’m convinced he’ll be a huge asset to us. His leadership and insight are going to be an invaluable contribution as we continue to serve an expanding international customer base. Particularly when translation, subtitling and audio description services in addition to voiceovers are increasingly playing a pivotal role in our solution offerings.”

Classifying a huge variety of dialects and accents, there is no charge for talent to join the site and customers are free to shortlist voice actors for their projects with no obligation. Voquent offers solutions for projects with a collection of services to enable full accessibility including: translations, subtitling, audio description and audio-visual localisation.
