Muir Homes, the family-owned Scottish housebuilder with over 50 years of experience, has appointed Robert Herd as its new Managing Director.
Having originally joined Muir Homes as a site manager, Herd rose through the ranks to become construction manager before briefly stepping away. Now, he returns to lead the company at a time of significant growth and investment.
His appointment is part of a wider expansion at Muir Homes, which has seen a series of key promotions and new hires as the company strengthens its market position. Demand remains strong, with developments in Peterhead sold out and only a limited number of homes remaining at Deeside, Laurencekirk, Stanley, and Glenboig. The company is also preparing to launch several new developments across the Central Belt and Fife, including a flagship project in Dalgety Bay in the coming months.
