Media Zoo acquires new Glasgow Creative Hub at Glasgow's Old Sheriff Court

Production Company, Media Zoo, has acquired a new Glasgow creative hub in Merchant City.

In a major expansion, Media Zoo has purchased nearly 6,600 sq. ft. of creative office/studio space in Glasgow’s landmark Old Sheriff Court. The Merchant City’s vibrant young workforce and dynamic leisure scene was a major draw for this leading communications company.

Following the success of this disposal, a further floor at the building is currently being refurbished to provide nearly 7,000 sq.ft. of high quality air conditioned space on the second floor. A refurbished entrance will further enhance the appeal of this space.

The modern office developed behind the magnificent sandstone façade of the Old Sheriff Court provides a highly functional yet quirky work space well suited for modern digital companies.

The letting agents expect high demand from the creative and digital media sectors which have been drawn to the Merchant City in recent years.

Building owner, David Griffin of Griffin Webster, stated “We have a unique product available at competitive terms to lease or sell therefore we hope to capitalise on our recent success with Media Zoo”.
