Itison is hiring over 250 people for Scotland’s biggest events Glasglow and Elfingrove
GLASGOW-based events and deals company itison has launched a recruitment drive for over 250 team members for its major events this winter, including GlasGLOW and Elfingrove, which expect up to 350,000 visitors for both.
Known for bringing world-class, multi-million-pound events to Scotland, itison is now on its biggest hiring hunt of the year, looking for recruits across a variety of roles to help deliver its events running October – December, and has sited enthusiasm over experience as the most desirable skills for the jobs.
Contracting across the steward team, costumed stewards and the bar and catering team, the organisation is hiring for a host of positions which will suit anyone who has enthusiasm in bucket-loads, with experience coming second to this most important skill.
A varied set of shift patterns, typical Scottish weather, dinosaur colleagues and the promise that no one night will be the same as the other, the roles available are perfect for those looking for something different this winter. What’s more, itison pays more than the Real Living Wage, offering all successful applicant’s £11 an hour which is more than the average hourly wage in the events sector.
