Glasgow digital agency on track for record year

Scottish digital creative agency MadeBrave is on track for a record year of growth with an expected turn over of £1.1m, an increase of 15%, on the back of clients wins in 2016 including Beam Suntory, Magenta and Vets Now.
With a growing client list and a further increase in growth expected in 2017, MadeBrave recently launched a campaign posting ‘7 jobs across 7 days’ highlighting a significant recruitment drive to boost its current workforce of 25.
The MadeBrave team secured a creative partnership with Clyde Gateway and Highbridge Properties in October around the Magenta office development which sees a 1.2 million square foot satellite business district, one of the largest in the UK, come to the East End of Glasgow. Also, throughout 2016, partnerships were established with Google’s Digital Garage in Glasgow, entrepreneurial support organisation, Scottish Edge and TEDxGlasgow.
In response to client demand and in addition to MadeBrave’s core services, the team has launched a number of workshops this year focused around branding, social media and digital marketing – both for individual companies and through open, ticketed events which are expected to become a significant revenue stream in 2017 and beyond.
Positioning MadeBrave as the employer of choice in the industry remains a primary focus, with an agency-wide bonus scheme in place and an emphasis on creating a best-of-breed working environment and in November the agency won ‘Agency Employer of the Year’ at the Marketing Society awards.
Andrew Dobbie, Founding Director of MadeBrave said: “When I first started MadeBrave, one of the things I knew from the get-go is that I didn’t want us to be like everyone else – I wanted to focus on a community-led culture, rather than a corporate one. We want MadeBrave to always be a hub of amazing talented people creating amazing work, and it’s our job to build a working environment that allows that to happen. This has worked for us since day dot and 2017 looks like it’s going be another great year”
