Belshill-HQ’d software testing company, Edge Testing Solutions, is expanding its Birmingham operations to accommodate a fast-growing regional team and is on track for more than 40% revenue growth in England.
With a series of new appointments over the past year, including David Singleton recruited as Regional Manager for England and Wales – a new board level role created as part of the company’s nationwide expansion, the software testing consultancy has taken on significant additional space with a second office to accommodate the growing test team at Quayside Wharf, Broad Street.
This expansion follows Edge Testing having recently opened a fourth UK base, in Manchester, to service more North of England clients and forms part of the company’s continued growth.
Edge Testing’s Birmingham presence is home to its second Digital Test Hub (DTH), which operates as a challenger to offshored testing providers. The Birmingham-based DTH was established in 2017 and can be accessed easily by organisations looking for a remote testing service for applications and back-office systems.
David Singleton commented: “Edge’s Digital Test Hub facility in Birmingham aimed to create over 60 new jobs in the area, from experienced Test Managers and Test Analysts to Trainee Software Testers. We have already recruited a number of trainee test analysts from Midlands universities and aim to continue our commitment to the region with further apppointments strengthening our growing base here. With new client wins across the region adding to our existing Midlands client base, we are taking on extra office space to continue our growth and accommodate an expanding team.”
