Cyber security and data confidence services company secures £2.7 million investment

EDINBURGH-headquartered, Quorum Cyber Security, have secured £2.7 million investment to scale its business internationally.

Corporate finance specialists, HNH, led by director Neal Allen, from the Scottish arm of the Belfast-based multi-disciplinary financial advisory, completed the deal from Maven Capital Partners through its VCTs, alongside the Scottish Investment Bank.

With a turnover of £2.7m and a team of 25 operating from Edinburgh, Quorum Cyber provides managed security services for UK and international clients.

The money will be used as growth capital to further scale the business, investing in sales and marketing resource, as well as product innovation.

Mr Allen said: “While Covid-19 and Brexit have created a challenging financial climate, this growth capital investment demonstrates that there is appetite for growth and investment in Scottish business.”
