Announcing Criton as Best Technology Provider, the judges cited the rapid growth and success of the company in the competitive app solution market as well as the strong guest satisfaction and engagement delivered by Criton’s platform. Criton was also shortlisted for Startup of the Year and Best Use of Mobile, for which the travel tech company has been highly commended.

The Travolution Awards recognise companies, brands and individuals who excel in the fields of online travel distribution, digital marketing and travel technology. Judged by a panel of proven business leaders, experts and entrepreneurs, the awards are one of the travel industry’s highest accolades for innovation and excellence.

Julie Grieve, Founder and CEO of Criton, said: “We are honoured to have won the ‘Best Technology Provider’ award at this year’s Travolution Awards. This prestigious award is recognition of our commitment to the industry, with Criton changing the way accommodation providers engage with their guests.  Our business is growing quickly, and we continue to innovate and evolve, adapting to the needs of the sector as we deliver big chain technology to independents.”

Winning the ‘Best Technology Provider’ award recognises Criton for having progressed the most in its field. After receiving a £5 million investment in November 2017, Criton has experienced a year of exponential expansion, growing from 4 to 31 full-time staff.
