Close Brothers Asset Management welcomes new managing director for Scotland

Close Brothers Asset Management (CBAM) has appointed Marcelo Rodrigues as managing director for Scotland, where he will be responsible for developing CBAM’s HNW advice presence and capabilities across Scotland

Joining from Schroders Personal Wealth in Scotland and Northern Ireland where he was responsible for business development and partnerships, Marcelo has more than 16 years of industry experience.

He has also held senior management positions at NatWest and Lloyds Banking Group where he was responsible for providing financial advice to key high-net-worth individuals.

Marcelo said: “I’m delighted to be joining CBAM at such an exciting time for the firm and its clients. The firm continues to invest heavily in its products and services, and the growth experienced in the past few years is a testament that its strategy of relentless focus on clients’ needs is paying off.

“Moving forward, our immediate priority is to continue to grow the business organically, whilst maintaining the high levels of service that our clients deserve and have grown used to.”
