Bullet Express appoints Commercial Director Designate

BULLET Express, one of the UK’s fastest-growing supply chain logistics, worldwide distribution and storage businesses, has appointed logistics specialist, Martin Craghill, as its Commercial Director Designate.

Martin will take responsibility for Bullet Express’s entire commercial programme, including Worldwide and Sales activities, alongside working with the company’s Managing Director, John McKail, on mergers and acquisitions strategy, when he joins the Glasgow-headquartered company in the Spring.

Established more than 30 years ago, Bullet Express now has more than 800 regular customers; 145 trucks and trailers on the country’s roads; and four bespoke storage sites with capacity for up to 40,000 pallets.

Martin Craghill has 30 years of sector experience and is currently Trade Lane Manager for the supply chain and logistics company, CCL Logistics & Technology. He has previously held senior roles with Braid Group, DB Schenker, Seko Logistics Scotland and YRC Logistics.

John McKail, Managing Director at Bullet Express, said:

  • Renfrew, Westway Bullet Express Storage Centre with 67,000 sq/ft. floor storage and easy access to the M8 and Glasgow Airport.
  • Bothwell, Express Pallet Centre and HQ totalling 200,000 sq/ft. – network distribution.
  • Baillieston, flagship Storage Centre totalling 210,000 sq/ft. – racked and floor storage.
  • London Road, Glasgow Storage Centre, totalling 32,000 sq/ft. – high-bay racked storage.
  • Glespin, Storage Satellite, totalling 50,000 sq/ft. – floor storage.
