EXPERIENCED industry figure takes new role with battery management innovator.
Dukosi Ltd, the developer of a novel and proprietary disruptive wireless battery management solution, today announces the appointment of Roger Appelo as VP Global Sales and Marketing.
Mr Appelo has three decades of experience in the automotive industry in engineering, marketing, sales and business development. He has held leadership positions at companies including Sensata Technologies and AMS AG.
The appointment will support Dukosi’s commercialization of their patented solution for electric vehicles, grid storage and distributed energy storage systems. Recent market analysis projects the automotive market alone to grow to over 100M electric vehicles by 2035. A highly scalable and cost effective solution will be crucial to support this growth.
Dukosi’s combined hardware and software solution, in its fully integrated chip, brings previously unseen levels of cell based measurement and monitoring, coupled with patented wireless data transfer. These cell based solutions will enable greater safety and reliability and will allow system integrators to extract more capacity from the batteries. By keeping track of the battery history, the Dukosi solution will enable a more robust secondary life including recycling.
Mr Appelo’s expertise will strengthen Dukosi’s ability to forge strong partnerships with global customers.
