SCOTLAND’S leading proposal and tender specialists AM Bid is celebrating its award to a national professional services framework contract.

Launching in April, the second generation of the Pagabo Professional Services Framework covers construction-related projects up to £500m. It will see providers split across 18 service-specific lots in seven geographical regions, including civil, structural and highways engineering, building services, landscaping and building surveying.

AM Bid is the only bidding and tender specialist to be successfully appointed to the Funding Solutions & Bid Writing lot in all seven of the UK regions: The North, South East and South West England, the Midlands, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

To be considered for Pagabo’s Professional Services framework, providers were required to go through a rigorous OJEU compliant tender process, prove strong finances and relevant experience. Providers on Pagabo frameworks are also required to share the company’s passion for social value and technology.

David Gray, Managing Director of AM Bid, said: “We are delighted to have won a place on this prestigious national construction projects framework, which allows us to further develop the work we do with clients delivering services in the built environment sector across the UK.

“We had targeted a place on the framework for some time, having identified a natural fit between AM Bid and Pagabo. We share a lot of common values, including our commitment to helping clients deliver meaningful social value and community benefits in the localities they work in.

“We are more used to helping our clients win new contracts so it made a change to be developing a bid for ourselves. Credit to our Bid Team, who produced an excellent submission which has ultimately won us a place in all seven UK regions.

“We can’t wait to get started and are looking forward to working with Pagabo and its clients on a range of projects to be delivered under this framework.”

Simon Toplass, CEO of Pagabo, said: “We are delighted to welcome the newly-appointed AM Bid to our next generation Professional Services framework.

“We had an unprecedented number of bids, and it is testament to AM Bid that they have been able to secure a place on the framework covering Funding Solutions and Bid Writing across all seven UK regions.

“This the second iteration of the framework, with the current generation enabling close to 700 projects of varying sizes since its inception.

“We are very much looking forward to working collaboratively with AM Bid, helping them to deliver expert bidding and tender services to our clients.”

Established in 2013, Pagabo is a national framework organisation providing UK-wide public sector organisations with EU-compliant framework agreements, delivered and backed up by a team led by qualified procurement professionals. Pagabo frameworks connect buyers to a wide range of works, services and goods.

AM Bid was founded in 2014 by Andrew Morrison. The Edinburgh-based firm, chaired by Scottish rugby legend David Sole, OBE, is Scotland’s largest bid and tender specialist, achieving win rates of over 80 per cent for its clients throughout the UK and Ireland.
