Leading professional services firm AAB has strengthened its international footprint by investing in Ormsby & Rhodes, one of Ireland’s longest-established firms. The acquisition pushes AAB’s revenue past the £100m milestone, reinforcing its position as a major player in the European market.

Founded in 1911, Ormsby & Rhodes is consistently ranked among Ireland’s top 20 firms. With annual revenues exceeding €7m, the firm provides a comprehensive range of services, including audit, accounting, tax, payroll, company secretarial, and business advisory support. The business will continue to operate under the Ormsby & Rhodes name, with all 10 partners remaining committed to driving the firm’s future growth and ensuring continuity for its clients.

Emma Lancaster, CEO of AAB, commented:
“This strategic move builds on our successful first investment in Ireland in 2022 and enhances our international reach with growth opportunities across Europe. Our focus remains on delivering exceptional service for our clients and fostering long-term partnerships based on trust, enabling their success.”

David Marsh, Managing Partner of Ormsby & Rhodes, said:
“As trusted advisors to a diverse range of clients, AAB’s investment will create new opportunities for both our clients and team. The expanded expertise will allow us to deliver even more tailored and comprehensive advice, no matter how complex the requirements. We are excited to build on our legacy while maintaining the strong client relationships that have always been at the core of our business.”

Since securing investment from August Equity in 2021, AAB has experienced remarkable growth, tripling its size and employing over 1,000 people. This latest milestone is part of the firm’s ambitious growth strategy, aiming for continued expansion and innovation through 2030.
