A. ALEXANDER Group has appointed Chris Divers as Renewables Project Manager, a newly created post to drive the company’s renewable services.

With over ten years renewables experience, Chris, an electrician to trade, latterly worked as Technical Manager with Absolute Solar and Wind.

In his new role Chris will be responsible for developing the company’s solar and battery installs for both domestic and large-scale projects, as well as maintenance contracts, and the installation of EV chargers, again for both domestic and commercial customers.

Stewart Alexander, Managing Director, A. Alexander Group said: “We’ve already delivered a number of renewable projects and with our mechanical and electrical experience it’s a natural step for us.  As a qualified electrician and with his depth of experience, Chris is a great fit for the business.”

Based in Glasgow’s southside, A. Alexander Group is a family-owned electrical, mechanical and fire & security contractors.

Founded in 1962 as a father and son electrical company, it has grown into one of Scotland’s leading multi-disciplinary businesses working on large scale projects including the new low carbon Danfoss Innovation Centre in Edinburgh, the award winning £50m Belgrave Logistics Park in Bellshill and numerous care homes across the UK.
