Claire Betty, Partner & Head of Legal at John Lewis Partnership commented: “We are grateful for Dentons seamless collaboration with our in-house counsel, along with their pragmatic approach and responsiveness, which played a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the deal.”

Claire Armstrong, Managing Partner Scotland commented: “We’re delighted to advise longstanding client, the John Lewis Partnership, and Waitrose to help achieve its ambitions.”

The Dentons team was led by Managing Partner Scotland Claire Armstrong, together with M&A relationship partner Joseph Altendorff, Corporate associates Murray Newell and Joe Macfarlane. Specialist teams in employment, banking, data privacy, IP, commercial and environmental, health and safety, and food safety also provided support.
