Glasgow's answer to Airbnb

Glasgow has a new answer to Airbnb with the launch of a new online booking platform.
SpotApartments has been launched by Glasgow-based property management company – SpotHost – conceived earlier in 2017 as a unique Airbnb management company.
In only 10 months of trading, SpotHost has grown to manage Glasgow properties listed on other platforms too, including Booking.com, TripAdvisor Rentals, Holiday Lettings, Flip Key, and now its own platform – SpotApartments. And last month SpotHost won New Business of the Year at the 12th Scottish Asian Business Awards 2017.
SpotApartments is a a complete ‘one-stop-shop’ providing an end-to-end property management and guest experience service with no fee to book or list property.
Akash Sharda, Founder and CEO, SpotHost says, “SpotApartments is our response to a need, from visitors to Glasgow, as well as our corporate client base, who want cost-effective, high-quality accommodation for their employees, living in Glasgow, short-term, for work. Since our launch, we’ve achieved Airbnb Superhost status for 9 of our hosts. And it’s the trust in the quality and reliability of the SpotHost stamp on properties, that brings back, both our corporate clients and visitors to the city, to our managed-properties again and again.
“We wanted to build on the goodwill of our returning customers, and create a ‘destination’ booking platform, with all guest and property management services available from one portal – providing a more personal and bespoke experience. Our clients can now browse a portfolio of SpotHost-managed properties, all in one place, as well as benefit from our range of end-to-end services include property listing on platforms and 24hr guest check-in to cleaning, transfers, luggage storage and more.”
Ian McDonald, property owner says, “SpotHost managed my Airbnb property, and they have been brilliant. They have been incredibly responsive to guest enquiries. And I’ve had 5 star reviews every time. Listing on SpotApartments I save on the listing fee, and I know that both me and my ‘guests’ can enjoy a seamless and hassle-free experience.”
Erik Furtado, guest “I am often in Glasgow for work and I first booked a SpotHost property via Airbnb. The guys have been so attentive, even offering airport pick-up, doing my check-in, no matter what time I arrive in Glasgow – and providing a well-stocked fridge. I really value the quality and consistency of the SpotHost service, and with the launch of SpotApartments, I can enjoy all of these benefits, whist saving my booking fee too.”
