A world-class leader in specialist industrial services, waste management, and process decontamination, Denholm Environmental Limited, has unveiled plans for a significant phase of investment totaling £2 million. This investment reaffirms the company’s commitment to enhancing its services and maintaining the highest safety standards across its operations in the UK.

During 2024, Denholm Environmental Limited, a subsidiary of Denholm Energy, will allocate a substantial portion of this investment to upgrade essential equipment. This includes improving and upgrading UHP jetting guns, shrouds, and swivel assemblies to meet the highest safety standards available on the market. These enhancements aim to improve operational efficiency and ensure the safety of operators across all UK operations.

In addition to equipment upgrades, Denholm Environmental plans to introduce a new Premier Transfer System (PTS) to enhance offshore tank cleaning capabilities. Furthermore, a new 32-tonne rigid ADR specification tanker will be added to the fleet at Invergordon. These investments underscore the company’s dedication to providing cutting-edge solutions to its clients.

To further expand its service capabilities, Denholm Environmental will invest in hazardous waste bin capabilities and add a state-of-the-art DISAB vacuum tanker to its fleet in Carlisle. This addition will bring the total number of DISABs across the company to seven, reinforcing its commitment to efficient waste management solutions.

Moreover, the company will deploy three UHP jetting trailer units in strategic locations such as Invergordon, Grangemouth, and Carlisle. These units will primarily cater to the onshore distillery and industrial sectors, enhancing service provision and meeting the growing demand for specialised cleaning solutions.

This latest investment initiative is part of Denholm Environmental’s ongoing sustainable growth strategy. In 2023, the company invested £1.5 million in trucks, tankers, and related infrastructure. The anticipated increase in capacity resulting from these investments is expected to create additional job opportunities throughout 2024, supporting the local economy and communities.

Commenting on the news, Denholm Environmental Managing Director Brian Ritchie emphasised the company’s commitment to both traditional and emerging markets. He stated, “This announcement marks the latest phase in a continuous program of investment, underlining our dedication to enhancing service provision while prioritising the safety of our personnel.”

Denholm Environmental remains a leading provider of specialist industrial services, liquid waste management, and decontamination solutions across various industries. The company works closely with its clients to deliver bespoke, uncompromising solutions tailored to their specific requirements, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.

With state-of-the-art equipment and a team of experienced professionals, Denholm Environmental continues to set industry standards and remains committed to delivering exceptional service to its clients.
