Two new senior roles at Stewart Brewing

Scottish craft brewer, Stewart Brewing, has created two new senior roles within its retail and marketing team with the appointment of a Retail Operations Director and Retail & Events Director.
Ross Dunbar joins as Retail Operations Director and will be responsible for all aspects of the retail side of the business. His areas of focus will span the shop and Craft Beer Kitchen at the brewery in Loanhead, the online marketplace following Stewart Brewing’s launch of its new website and the craft beer shop in Leith, Stewart’s Dockside Tap, which opened in December 2016.
Prior to joining the team at Stewart Brewing, Ross was Centre Manager at The Scottish Antique & Arts Centre in Perthshire overseeing retail departments, the food & drink hall and restaurant as well as online strategy.
Jakub Kebisek has joined the team as Retail & Events Marketing Director. His responsibilities will include planning four key events at the brewery per year, including MayFest 2018, as well as exclusive tasting events and beer launches. Jakub will enhance the marketing strategy to support social media and online and shop sales. Previously Jakub was Global Brand Experience Manager for Innis & Gunn and most recently was Regional Sales Manager at Meantime Brewing Company.

Jo Stewart, Co-Founder of Stewart Brewing, commented: “We have a great team of people at Stewart Brewing and we’re really excited to be expanding our team with Ross and Jakub, who both bring with them a wealth of experience. We have ambitious plans for 2018 and aim to double turnover of our retail business.
“We’re very proud of the success we’ve achieved this year with award wins and new listings and the time feels right to put more focus on our retail business. Ross and Jakub will be dedicating their resource to retail operations, marketing and events and they already have some great ideas brewing.”
This year Stewart Brewing has won awards in the International Beer Challenge, Scotland Food and Drink Excellence Awards, SIBA Independent Beer Awards and World Beer Awards. Co-founder Steve Stewart was also named Master Brewer of the Year in the Scottish Beer Awards.
