Thomas Cochrane, owner of TNR, said: “The time was right for our business to expand and Westway proved to be the ideal central location, close to the airport, where the majority of our customers are located. It also offers the added benefit of 24-hour security. The unit itself gives us excellent manufacturing space and having access to on-site cranes is a real benefit for our future business needs.”
Tom White, director at landlord Canmoor, said: “We are delighted to conclude another deal at Westway and it is particularly pleasing to see a local Renfrewshire business expand. It is clear that our strategy of investment in the future of Westway is proving attractive to occupiers.”
Mike Brown from joint agent JLL, added: “Westway offers the ideal location for ambitious and growing businesses. TNR was attracted by the location and specification of the units, as well as the ample power and cranage that is available on site. Under the new ownership, Westway is re-establishing itself as the prime industrial and distribution base in the West of Scotland and we continue to see increased demand for this type of space.”
Canmoor was advised by JLL, whilst TNR was self-represented.
