Media Zoo opens new £1m creative hub in Glasgow

Communications company,Media Zoo, has launched a new £1m creative hub in Merchant City the heart of Glasgow.

The state-of-the-art hub includes a three-camera TV studio, edit suites and a graphic design studio. It provides a dynamic platform to deliver film, PR, media training, learning and design services to its growing client base in Scotland, which already includes RBS and INEOS.

Rachel Pendered, Media Zoo’s managing director, says “We bring something new to Scotland. Our team comprises TV producers, PR professionals, designers and learning consultants, all working collaboratively to offer expert advice and creativity across multiple business sectors. Glasgow is teeming with highly-skilled digital and creative talent as well as some exciting business opportunities and we think this is the right place to expand our business”

The Media Zoo group now employs 100 media professionals and clients include INEOS, RBS, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, IKEA and Schroders to name but a few.

The agency is expecting to grow by 40% during 2018 and plans to double its staff numbers in Scotland to meet the growing demand for its creative communications offer.

Media Zoo Scotland plans to co-work some of its space and is looking to partner with other creative professionals and cutting-edge companies to create a real buzz in the city.
