Investing Women announce three key appointments

Investing Women, Scotland’s only all-female business angel group, has announced three appointments to its board of directors.
Restaurant entrepreneur Sanja Moll and former investment banker Evelyn Simpson become board members while Kirsty Paton, an entrepreneurial tax specialist at accountants Chiene + Tait, is appointed as board advisor.
Edinburgh-based Sanja Moll co-founded Salt Yard Group in 2005. It now comprises of five award-winning London restaurants:  Salt Yard, Dehesa, Opera Tavern, Ember Yard and Veneta, specialising in Spanish and Italian food. After selling a stake of her business to private equity in 2014, she continues to serve as a non-exec director.
After a successful international career with JP Morgan Chase, specialising in corporate finance for shipping companies, Evelyn Simpson trained as an executive coach. She co-founded executive training company, Thriving Abroad and co-authored a book about her work. She continues to mentor executives and entrepreneurs and is an active business angel investor.
Commenting on the appointments, Jackie Waring, CEO of Investing Women said: “I’m delighted to be joined on our board by two highly successful and extremely capable women and equally pleased to have Kirsty, with her immense tax knowledge and expertise, joining as an advisor.
