The Insights Group has acquired DOGFI.SH Mobile Ltd, a cutting edge enterprise mobility specialist working with some of the world’s most successful companies.
This multi-million pound acquisition enhances the capabilities of the Insights Group and presents an opportunity for the shareholders to diversify their interests.
DOGFI.SH will sit alongside Insights Group’s existing people development company, Insights Learning and Development Ltd. Both companies will operate as entirely independent businesses within the Insights Group with each company continuing to support its existing and growing customer base.
Following this acquisition, Andy Lothian will take on the role of Group CEO, taking overall responsibility for the leadership of both businesses on behalf of the Insights Group Holdings Board.
Commenting on the deal, Andy Lothian said: “Insights has seen excellent growth over the last few years, achieving around 30% growth in Group revenue in 2016/17. By bringing this business within the Insights Group, it reduces risk and establishes a vital source of technology expertise. It brings additional talent, skills and knowledge into the Insights Group that will complement the existing technology team within ILD, and offers new career opportunities for people in both businesses.

The existing leadership team in DOGFI.SH Mobile (including co-founders Ross Tuffee and Paul Burrowes) are remaining with the company. In addition, Greig Johnston, currently Chief Technology Officer in Insights Learning and Development Ltd, will transition to take on the role of CEO for DOGFI.SH Mobile Ltd.
