Glasgow-based web agency doubles headcount in 2017

Glasgow-based digital agency, Digital Impact, has rounded off a successful year by doubling its in-house team to 14 digital specialists.
The agency’s expansion comes after winning several high-value custom development projects, including a remote turbine monitoring system for Turner Group and a new ‘money gifting’ fintech startup.
Its rolling recruitment, supported by the Glasgow Guarantee and the University of Glasgow’s Internship Hub, has helped create seven new graduate-level jobs at the agency this year, with plans to expand further in 2018.
Alongside its core range of digital and web services — web design, digital marketing, branding, etc. — Digital Impact is launching a new project with the assistance of Scottish Enterprise.
The new project — dubbed LeaseFetcher — is the UK’s first dedicated car leasing comparison site and is slated for launch in February 2018. LeaseFetcher has already secured 20 commercial partners across the UK with more joining every month.
LeaseFetcher is estimated to create five new positions within the first 12 months.
Will Craig, Managing Director at Digital Impact said “It’s an exceptionally exciting time here at Digital Impact. We’ve just welcomed several new clients onboard and we’re gearing up to launch our own side project with the assistance of Scottish Enterprise. I hope we can do our bit to put Glasgow — and Scotland — on the map as an emerging digital powerhouse.”
