Award winning Bolt Learning proves it’s ‘one to watch’

Paisley based, Bolt Learning, has proven it is ‘one to watch’ by winning the ROCCO Award for Learning and Technology at the annual business awards of Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce.

Bolt Learning is a fast growing, innovative technology company with a focus on developing people through powerful eLearning solutions. In just 4 years Bolt has quickly gained a great reputation for delivering game-changing online learning experiences, on a ground-breaking Learning Management System (LMS), and is already delivering training in over 50 countries and 17 languages.

“It’s been such an exciting year for Bolt” comments Tamlin Roberts, founder and CEO at Bolt. “Our client base has increased by over 30%, we’ve won our first international client and our first Fortune 500 client, and we’ve been rewarded with a 78% growth in turnover. Winning a ROCCO Award is the icing on the cake!”

Judges of this highly competitive ROCCO award were looking for companies who had developed innovative products, technologies or services which would be considered ground breaking in their sector.

One judge, Louise O’Connell of Hillington Park, commented: “Bolt Learning’s award entry demonstrated it is a ground-breaking business with an excellent client base.  It also highlighted the business’s use of research to ensure its products are responding to the market and making them stand-outs in its sector. The Rocco Award was very well deserved.”

Bolt is definitely ‘one to watch’; Bolt has already been short listed for a prestigious Learning Technologies Award, attracted global giants such as the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), which trains 150,000 globally every year; Philip Morris International, a Fortune 500 company with an 80,000 strong global workforce; through to more local companies such as David’s Kitchen, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, McCurrach, SlingShot Edge and Paisley-based recruitment firm, Stafffinders.
