Amiqus and Denholm link up on data protection

Amiqus Resolution Ltd, the Edinburgh-headquartered startup that develops software that makes it easier for people to access professional services, has secured a partnership with Denholm that will see the specialist marketing recruitment and C-suite headhunting agency incorporate Amiqus’ web-based compliance software, Amiqus ID, into its candidate offering.
The deal with Denholm marks Amiqus’ first move into the exectutive search and recruitment sector – Amiqus is already established in the legal, property and financial sectors – and for Denholm, it is the latest in a series of technology applications that the agency believes can be a differentiator in the industry.  Amiqus, which is headquartered at the Seed Haus tech accelerator in Leith in close proximity to Denholm’s own HQ, doubled its client base in 2017, secured its latest funding round and grew its team to 22.

Amiqus CEO and founder Callum Murray said: “The partnership with Denholm is an important milestone and moves Amiqus ID into an entirely new sector.  It’s also a great example of how the open and innovative culture in Leith is creating new opportunities in collaboration between new and seasoned companies.  We’re delighted to be supporting Denholm around how they handle client vetting and, as Amiqus grows and scales up, we’re excited to be working with a business that shares our values and ambitions.”
Marisa Carroll, Denholm’s COO, said: “We have known Callum and the Amiqus team for a while now and have been continually impressed by both their people and their product.  In our industry, the veracity and security of candidate information is paramount so Amiqus ID is a great fit for us and the the business.”
Nicki Denholm, CEO and founder of Denholm, said: “The use of technology and digital communications increasingly supports our ability to attract specialist marketing and commercial talent from across the UK and the rest of the world and Amiqus ID gives us an enhanced offering which is of particular importance as we approach a new GDPR reality.”
Founded in 2002, Denholm’s client base includes Standard Life, VisitScotland, The R&A, Beam Suntory, Maxxium, Baxters and Skyscanner.  Denholm opened a Glasgow office in 2017, continued to roll out its ‘BrandBox’ online employer brand tool, announced a partnership with fellow headhunting firm McGregor Bond and launched Inside Out, a standalone employer brand agency.
