There were over 100 entrants for the Ambition category award with the six winners chosen by an independent judging panel. They were selected for showing passion in their business, underlining its market opportunities and demonstrating a strong understanding of both running costs and sales potential.

The news comes a week before the winners of the AccelerateHER Awards Growth category, for more established female-led companies, will be announced at next week’s Ambition & Growth conference.

The short-listed Growth category companies are: My Diabetes My Way; Cascade Water Products; Little Rio uFraction8; TeqNox, Craft Design House; IntelliDigest; Sustainably and CogniHealth.

The winners in this category will secure a place on an all-expenses paid trip to Dubai in April or to California in September.

Now in their third year, the AccelerateHER Awards, organised by Investing Women and sponsored by Skyscanner, are open to businesswomen whose companies demonstrate strong growth potential. The competition provides an ideal platform for participants to attract investment into their businesses.
